RC Blimp- Height can be regulated by hanging a string or thin chain; the balloon will lift the length of chain equal in weight to the net buoyant force of the balloons, which is 1 gram per liter.

A 14" diameter round balloon has a volume of approximately 23.55 liters.

If higher performance is required, consider using APA102 (DotStar) LEDs instead of Neopixels, as they offer significantly faster refresh rates, leading to smoother animations, according to DigiKey. 

DotStars, also known as the APA102, are individually addressable LEDs. With them you can create persistence of vision (POV) displays, achieve a wide range of colors, and patterns relevant to your project

Issues with servomotor circuitry for shirt folding machine- important to color code wires for power(red), ground(black) and signal (colors); 9V power should only be used on barrel-jack on UNO R4. Should consider use of Microbits.

Mentor Meeting:

The meeting discussed various team updates and challenges.

 Key points included the need to order parts urgently, with some parts already ordered and others needing replacements. 

Technical issues such as voltage compatibility for ultrasonic sensors and LiDAR were addressed. The team's progress on woodworking and coding projects was highlighted, with specific improvements in woodworking techniques and coding efficiency.

 Concerns about team dynamics and ensuring all members are engaged were raised. The importance of safety, especially with sharp tools, was emphasized.

 The meeting concluded with positive feedback on the team's enthusiasm and productivity.

Action Items

• Order the parts that were discussed as needing to be ordered as soon as possible.
• Provide guidance to the team working on the chair and help them find a suitable replacement.
• Follow up with the team working on the ultrasonic sensors and the 5V vs. 3.3V issue.
• Involve the entire team in the wood cutting process for the table project.
• Shift the code for the monitor computer once it is available.
• Have a conversation with the team that seems unsure of what to do next if the kit doesn't arrive on time.
• Provide guidance and support to the Hindenburg group to help them figure out the helium issue for their balloon project.
• Ensure that the group working on the display project is incorporating all team members' ideas
